ÇETİN CİVATA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. as the main factory and the admiral ship of TECDE GROUP was established in 1976 in Is- tanbul, with it’s roots extending to year 1901 to the founder’s and owner’s family’s first generation when the family had started the fastener business almost 120 years ago. ÇETİN CİVATA SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. is today one of the biggest producers of cold forged steel bolts, screws and fasteners in Turkey and a totally integrated factory, having a production range of fasteners from M3 to M27 and lengths up to 230 mm in all standard items and customer’s drawing items and having all processes in-house starting from the prepa-ration of raw material wire rods which means the wire draw-ing+an- nealing-up to cold forging/cold heading and after-wards till thread rolling, heat treatment, surface coating and finally till the sorting-logistic operations which are all done under Cetin Civata production premises. ÇETİN CİVATA has the capability to design and to manufacture all necessary moulds, toolings and tool sets in it’s own tool shop facilities in the factory which gives a big advantage and flexibility to CETIN CIVATA in customer drawing fasteners production and in special items markets.

ÇETİN CİVATA, including the Group’s 4 production facilities and 2 marketing companies employs more than 800 staff, has 140,000 sqm total production area and over 60,000 sqm covered area and exports 60 % of its turnover to more than 40 countries in the world. The main factory has a very young machine inventory of more than 120 first class multi-station cold forging machines, combined cold headers, thread rollers, tapping-pointing and open-die tooling machines. Together with the Group factories, the consolidated num-ber of cold headers is 180 and the total forging capacity is over 80,000 tons which will be going to reach 100,000 tons in the next 3 years after the continuing capacity and machin-ery investments will be completed. The factory also has 4 heat treatment lines which are run-ning as per CQI – 9 regulations for serving it’s wide range of high tensile products clients. Çetin Cıvata is able to offer and to apply all types of surface coatings against corrosion and is one of licenced coaters of Dörken and Magni coat-ing brands in Turkey. ÇETİN CİVATA has all the required process management and quality management certifications such as IATF16949, EN ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO / IEC 27001 and the confor-

mity certificate of structural bolting assemblies as per EN 14399 and EN 15048 and sells 40 % of its’ products to automotive in- dustry, 25% to white goods industry, 15% to various construction related fields and the rest is sold to the wholesaler market.
